It seems change is in the air. Not only did we select new national, state and local leaders last week, it also appears change is coming to KTSY as well.

Jerry Woods, our program director and morning show host was in North Carolina last week, interviewing with a radio station owned by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association in Ashville. He was offered and has accepted a position as afternoon drive host and director of Creative Services.

I hired Jerry eleven years ago this month, a young man fresh from college and ready to take on the world.  He has not disappointed in his service to KTSY and the Treasure Valley.  And why the folks in North Carolina would want to have him work there is obvious. It’s with mixed joy and sadness we bid him a fond farewell. Jerry is planning on being here through Sharathon and his last day on-air will be Friday morning after Sharathon.  Our operations manager, Chris Gilbreth, will be taking over the morning show, anxiously awaiting Michelle’s return from her baby building leave.
